Our Specialities

Expertise and approaches that set our practice apart

Developmentally Appropriate Engagement

Children learn best when they feel successful, engaged, and understood. Every activity and approach is thoughtfully matched to the child’s developmental level- providing the right amount of challenge while building confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning.

Play & Sensory-Based Learning

Play is powerful! Especially for young children, meaningful learning often happens through movement, exploration, creativity, and connection. Play and sensory-based activities allow us to build skills while honoring how each child naturally learns and engages with the world.

Individualized Program Development

There is no one-size-fits-all child- and there shouldn’t be a one-size-fits-all approach. Support is tailored to each student’s individual strengths, needs, interests, learning style, and goals, with strategies evolving as the child grows.

Private School Admissions Expertise

With professional experience working within independent school admissions, I understand the process from both sides of the table. I help families identify schools where their child can truly thrive and navigate everything from school selection and applications to interviews, admissions events, and enrollment decisions with clarity and confidence.

Special Education Knowledge & Navigation

Special education can come with an entirely new language- and an overwhelming amount of information. Drawing upon my background in Childhood and Special Education, professional experience, and personal perspective as a parent, I help families better understand evaluations, diagnoses, therapies, school supports, accommodations, and the options available to their child.

Special Education Advocacy

As a COPAA BSEAT Certified Non-Attorney Special Education Advocate, I support families navigating IEPs, 504 Plans, evaluations, eligibility, services, accommodations, placement, and the PPT process. From records review and meeting preparation to parent coaching and direct advocacy, my goal is to ensure families understand their rights, their options, and their next steps- and walk into the process feeling prepared, informed, and confident.

Compassionate “Road-Mapping” Support

Sometimes the hardest part is simply figuring out: Where do we go from here? I help families take an overwhelming amount of information and turn it into a clear, manageable roadmap- identifying priorities, connecting resources, coordinating next steps, and providing compassionate support along the way.

You don’t need to have the entire journey figured out. Sometimes you just need someone knowledgeable in your corner to help you find the next right step.

Strategic Educational Writing & Correspondence

Sometimes knowing what you want to say is the easy part- figuring out exactly how to say it is harder. I help families translate their thoughts, concerns, and goals into clear, thoughtful, and effective written communication. Support may include parent correspondence with schools and districts, IEP language and goal development, meeting follow-up and documentation, admissions application review and editing, and other education-related writing. Whether advocating for a child’s needs or telling a family’s story through an admissions application, the goal is always the same: your voice, your message- just clearer, stronger, and more confident.
